Getting started
When a virtual machine is created, a fixed IP is automatically asssigned in the selected network. This network can be a private one you created or one of the pre-configured infomaniak networks described below.
Pre-configured public networks
ext-net1
: VMs created using this network will automatically get assigned a public IPv4 address (billed) and a public IPv6 address (free).
ext-v6only1
: VMs created using this network will automatically get assigned a public IPv6 address (free).
ext-floating1
: You can reserve a floating IP which is a public IPv4 address (billed) and map it to a VM's private IP (NAT) to expose it to the internet.
ext-provider1
: Upon request, you can have access to this network to reserve a /28 or /29 public IPv4 range. Each IP reserved is billed.
