Getting started

When a virtual machine is created, a fixed IP is automatically asssigned in the selected network. This network can be a private one you created or one of the pre-configured infomaniak networks described below.

Pre-configured public networks

ext-net1 : VMs created using this network will automatically get assigned a public IPv4 address (billed) and a public IPv6 address (free).

ext-v6only1 : VMs created using this network will automatically get assigned a public IPv6 address (free).

ext-floating1 : You can reserve a floating IP which is a public IPv4 address (billed) and map it to a VM's private IP (NAT) to expose it to the internet.

ext-provider1 : Upon request, you can have access to this network to reserve a /28 or /29 public IPv4 range. Each IP reserved is billed.
